Merry all the way Matt! Have a jolly good time and all the best for 2013 ( if we are not doomed tomorrow ;-) ) And from me too, THANKS for all the hard work with the blog!
The Christmas card is for 1961 according to “Ronald Searle Remembered”.
“The Puffin Song Book” was originally published in hardcovers in the 50s with a completely different jacket. It was reprinted in 1961 as a paperback, and 1961 was also when Kaye Webb, Searle’s current wife, took over the running of Puffin.
Have a merry old time! Thanks for all your hard work with the blog. Look forward to more in 2013.
ReplyDeleteAppreciated Matt-LOTS more to come in 2013!
