Fake!

Another poorly executed Searle fake hits the art market, this time being sold through Christie's. Check out the lot here  *UPDATE* the item has been removed from the auction.

    That one's atrocious, but I'm sure plenty of auction houses will happily give their imprimatur to it.

    Christie's has done the right thing and withdrawn the lot. They took their time but they really didn't have much choice.
