Large full page reproductions. Well done!
I dislike those catalogues that reproduce images stamp size on a white page. Glad you didn't go for that nonsense.
Yes, I wanted to reproduce the Searle work as big as possible. I had hoped to make the catalogue the same dimensions as HOLIDAY magazine but the printer had size restrictions. The expanded book will be oversize.
The catalogue has a handful of landscape pages to accommodate the format of certain images. I'd rather readers turn the book than print smaller images to fit a portrait format.
All the donated artwork for the auction is included in the catalogue-due to space restrictions they're not all full page, but they work great with the artist statements.
