A beautiful edition of Christopher Fry's story illustrated by Searle in 1959 in a more classical style than usual.  He would do complimentary drawings the next year for Robert Grave's 'The Anger of Achilles' 1960

'Six Animal Plays' by Frank Carpenter (1953).  The foreword is by Christopher Fry whose 'A Phoenix Too Frequent' 'The Dark is Light Enough' and 'A Sleep Of Prisoners' were also illustrated by Searle.
